Kourageous Kids

The bravery we see displayed in the clinic each day goes on display around town each year.

Each September, ASK recognizes Childhood Cancer Month with a portrait display honoring the courageous spirit of children with cancer. The children are proud of their portraits and gain confidence in their appearance through the process. Various venues in the Richmond area host the display, providing ASK and its mission with more visibility in the community as well as promoting overall awareness of childhood cancer. In September 2009, ASK partnered with CMOR for our Kourageous Kids Party that honored 28 very special children. The celebration was a huge success with over 300 in attendence.

September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
